Snuggle Dog and I had to take my nephew yesterday to Golden High School for football practice. The beauty of Colorado never ceases to astound me. While he practiced, I took Sadie, my little snuggle dog, for a walk, around the high school which is nestled in the foothills. The neighborhoods had old houses, remodeled houses, beautiful landscapes. I’d look at every house and think wow, if only I had enough money….
Some houses scream money. I’ve always wanted to walk up to the door, ring the doorbell and ask what do you do? I know they’re not teachers or social workers. Or if they are, what did I do wrong?
Do you ever have an urge to do this?
I wish I had taken my phone on the walk and taken more pictures. We stumbled across a part called Discovery Park and there were dinosaurs – a bones of a t-rex that was a jungle gym and a brontosaurs for kids to climb on. Cool huh?

What places do you wonder about and look at homes, wishing you could buy? Or are you do you love your house?

  1. Would love to see those shots of the dino playground equipment! I love to look at houses and wonder what life is like inside. I wonder if they’re happy, what their furniture looks like, what their story is. A writer’s brain is always writing stories!
